Undisappeared: An undying legacy of hope

As the UN observed the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances on the 30th of August, hundreds of relatives of the missing Tamils took to the streets in the northern garrison town of Vavuniya. The police were deployed and the roads were blocked barring people from handing over a petition to the Government Agent's Office.
