Blowback: Terror comes home

'The patriotic community stood stoically behind the armed forces and conducted blood drives for security forces personnel fighting the LTTE in the north' writes Dharisha Bastians in Daily FT, after roaming through Weliweriya. Now, the terror has come home. The ferocious blow-back generated by the 'war against the Tamils' was evident in Weliweriya, where at least 3 Sinhala civilians were shot dead by the armed forces.
