Witness of the 'War Without Witness'

Since the journalists and aid workers were barred from entering the war zone by the Sri Lankan government, the final assault in 2009 was literally called ‘War without Witness’. Yet, Korean journalist, writer and photographer Lee Yu Kyung believes the hundreds of thousands who were trapped but survived the war, were all witnesses of the brutal ending. This belief has crucially reasoned an initiative of the project named Witness of the War Without Witness (or WWWW), in which witnesses are featured. The project remains to be continued.
